Made it halfway to 50,000 words! Hurray! Link to donate to the Office of Letters and Light (The non profit organization that puts on NaNoWriMo) My fundraising page link is over there ----------->
This was my celebratory REACHING 5000 words dance! =D If you wanna encourage further chair dancing shenanigans, you could clikcy click on the link over there on the right sidebar ------------------> to go to my fundraising page for the Office of Letters and Light - the fantastic non-profit organization that puts on NaNoWriMo every year!
So, this happened. If I may direct your attention over that way ---->
You will see I have a fundraising page for NaNoWriMo, put on by the non profit organization The Office of Letters and Light, at no cost to the participants. If you are so inclined, you could throw a few dollars their way, they are a wonderful program that encourages so very much creativity. (My children are also participating along with me this year, and we're having a blast!) Just a silly little video I made, trying to learn how to use the editing programs on my Ipad! We were driving to see the Riff Trax live showing of Birdemic. Which was absolutely hysterical, and that movie is just ridiculously BAD. I proclaimed myself a filmmaking genius, and my husband said he didn't know that "managed something better than Birdemic" was really a good gauge of filmmaking genius.
So this is happening. Because I am ridiculous, and I adore writing ridiculous things. Both kiddos are also participating. Elder Child going for the full 50,000, and Youngest signed up with the Young Writer's Program for 30,000 I believe. If you've ever had a hankering to write a novel? National Novel Writing Month is a great way to bang out a first draft. Check it out at http:NaNoWriMo.org
*Insert apologetic post regarding the lack of updates for the past few weeks, even though I think probably five people regularly read this blog and I do this for free. Explanation of ridiculous busyness and promise to strive to update more often. Thank you for your time.* :)
