Charlie the grizzly bear lived at the zoo for many many years. He did not live to see the new grizzly bear exhibit, complete with a pond to fish and play in! But his cohort Stripes is enjoying the exhibit now. These are Charlie's paw prints, pressed into the concrete outside of the habita.t, a lovely little tribute to Charlie.
 My youngest has recently learned to cook eggs. For a while, he was cooking them just about every day, because HE WAS HUNGRY, AND HE COULD MAKE EGGS AND SO HE WOULD MAKE EGGS! One morning I was the beneficiary of his new skills and got eggs for breakfast.
Our, "it's too dry to light anything on fire, but we still want to have some colorful Fourth of July fun" project!
