Whew. I've been a bit overwhelmed as of late - I wasn't planning on having a booth at Farmer's Market this year, and then HURRAY vaccination suddenly made it feel much much safer, so I hopped back into doing that - but without the usual ramp up and preparation, so it feels a bit like I've been *just* keeping my head above water with making stuff for my inventory. (I also introduced a new style of journal this year, and added pens and pencils, so I had to figure out the best work flow for that.) And there were health issues and sick pets and on and on and on and on...
Anyway, we've still been enjoying our wonderful local outdoors, but I've been focusing mostly on just enjoying it and taking a moment to breathe instead of focusing on getting pictures. (I enjoy taking the pictures as well, don't get me wrong - it's another way of appreciating the beauty around us, but I needed to just be for a little bit.) Also both myself and Elder Child struggled with the heat and wildfire smoke this summer. We are very relieved to currently be enjoying the riot of fall colors around us and cooler temps! Once market is over, I hope to start posting regularly here again in mid-Novemberish. Hope to see you then!
