 Well, hockey weekend for half of the family, anyway. Husband Person and the Boy Child headed to Elko. (Kid ended up playing eight games in twenty four hours, if I have my numbers right.) He got pretty banged up, apparently somebody from the other team thought it would be AWESOME to check him into the boards. In the no-check league. "Grrrrrr!" says the mama bear. He got a pretty good bruise, too - he'll have battlescar bragging rights for at least a little while. I'd post a picture, but both of the kids are now at the age where they pretty much require me to get a release signed in triplicate from them before I can put pictures of them online.
Eldest Child and myself stayed home because they were sick. :( SO NO FUN! They were really disappointed to not get to play hockey. |
