I have no idea what Mr. Poe and the ponies did to get on the bad side of Black Widow...but it looks like they are in TROUBLE! 

Side note: There was an EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING lack of Black Widow merchandise anywhere when The Avengers was in the theaters. I basically snapped this action figure up the minute I saw it. Hey, marketing guys: GIRLS LIKE SUPERHEROES AND SUPER COOL SPIES TOO! 

Just going to be some photo dumping of some of the stuff I missed while taking that unintentional blog hiatus!

This was from the Muggle Magic event that the Idaho Natural History Museum holds every year - I was friends with one of the coordinators on Twitter who asked if I could rustle up some people to be mermaids. (It was fantastic to get to meet someone I had previously only known in a digital space.) And of course I have friends who jumped at the chance! :) It was great fun, we spent the day playing music and singing (I actually played my ukulele! In front of people!) and making up mermaid songs. And decided that the proper collective noun for mermaids should be a "sparkle."

Long time, no blog. One of the harder experiences we had in the past year was saying goodbye to our Pomeranian Kalli. She came into our lives when the kids were young, and she grew up with them and accompanied them on many adventures.
