I'm a songwriting genius, I am. ;) (Younger kiddo decided to do some work for Grandpa and Dad instead of helping me with the grocery trip. Can't blame him - he gets a paycheck for doing that, after all.)
Got some much needed time outdoors in over the weekend. I was deep in my February feels, so some sunshine and forest was exactly what I needed.  I was flipping through the calendar I got the other day, and I couldn't figure oit where events that I KNEW I had written down had dissapeared to. Turns out, I was trying to time travel forward an extra year. :D
I did not actually choose this shirt on purpose today. (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Loved the book. hated the movie.)   There was a B.Smithi (Mexican Red Knee) at the pet store today when we went to pick up snake dinner. And me without an extra hundred bucks to spend...
 Okay, actually it's a freshly molted Dubia roach. It will darken back to their usual brown/black color with time.
 Painted my nails sparkly this morning, and only realized that what with the glitter and the pink that I was trying to go for a Valentine's theme. Believe me, it was not intentional. I have long called Valentine's "half-priced chocolate day eve."
