So, I turned 40 today! 
Early morning birthday selfie!
I got up early for our weekly meeting for the choreographic collaboration several of us are participating in with students from Latvia. They sang happy birthday to me. :) And then we spent the morning dancing. Say what you want about the "evils" of technology, the fact that it can facilitate this sort of interaction is pretty dang cool. 
Who leaves a banana peel on the sidewalk? How rude!
As I was walking back to my car, I did NOT slip and fall on a banana peel. But the painful but possibly hilarious opportunity was there. 
Yum! Chicken fried steak!
The kids and I went out for a breakfast full of yummy comfort food. 
And then my silly family got me this, uh...slightly altered card. :) (and cake! And some cookies!) All in all, a pretty good day. |
