I helped with the kids hockey practice last week. Most of the kids were way better than me. I really need to learn how to skate backwards.
Pretty, but...unfortunately the sky was this red because of the powerline wildfire. Currently at 50thousand some acres, but thankfully getting more contained. I about cried last night when we got a storm and it smelled like rain instead of smoke. (it was pretty miserable on Sunday.) So much gratitude for the brave and dedicated folk who fight these fires.
A few months ago, I was at a party. My friend had his daughter there. She wrote me a story. It's still in a place of honor on my fridge.
